MCEGold^® Configuration File 1.0.1.0 Instructions

MCE Config File

Replace your existing config file by following these steps.

From Desktop

1. Click on the MceCfg link below.
2. Select Save As and save it to a USB Drive or network location accessible by the MCE tester computer.
3. When the download is complete, click Open Folder from the message bar at the bottom of the window.
4. Right click on the mcecfg.zip file.
5. Select Extract All …
6. Click Extract.
7. The zip file will self-extract the mcecfg.xml file.

From Tester Computer

1. Locate existing config file (mcecfg.xml) at
   C:\PdMA Corporation\MCEGold\Mce\Req (for 3.0 users) or C:\PdMA Corporation\MCEGold\MCE (for 2.6 users).
2. Rename the existing config file to mcecfgoriginal.xml.
3. Copy the extracted mcecfg.xml file from the USB Drive or network location into C:\PdMA Corporation\MCEGold\Mce\Req (for 3.0 users) or C:\PdMA Corporation\MCEGold\MCE (for 2.6 users) folder on the tester computer.
